Rymir Satterthwaite, 31, has filed a new lawsuit on November 25, continuing his decade-long quest to prove Jay-Z (Shawn Carter) is his biological father. The lawsuit alleges fraudulent actions by Carter's legal team during previous paternity test attempts.

The case stems from claims by Satterthwaite's late mother, Wanda, who stated in a sworn affidavit that she had relations with Carter in 1992 when she was 16. Satterthwaite was born in 1993.

Key developments in the paternity case:

  • Initial proceedings began in 2012 in Camden County, New Jersey
  • Previous DNA test proved Robert Graves, Wanda's former partner, was not the father
  • Carter's legal team disputed jurisdiction between Pennsylvania and New Jersey courts
  • Pennsylvania case was dismissed as Satterthwaite exceeded the state's age limit for paternity claims
  • New Jersey allows paternity cases until age 23

The new lawsuit names several New Jersey courts and judges, including the state's Supreme Court, alleging constitutional rights violations through sealed records and procedural obstruction from 2012 to 2023.

Satterthwaite and his guardian, Dr. Lillie Coley, argue that Carter's attorneys deliberately prevented court-ordered paternity testing, potentially due to Wanda's underage status at the time of conception.

This latest legal challenge coincides with separate allegations against Jay-Z in a civil lawsuit claiming sexual assault of a teenage girl in 2000, alongside Sean "Diddy" Combs.
