The discussion comes at a crucial time when ticket prices have reached unprecedented levels, exemplified by Taylor Swift's Eras Tour and the upcoming Oasis reunion shows. Investigation revealed that ticket-buying bots are readily available for as little as $50, giving scalpers an unfair advantage over genuine fans.

Currently, the U.S. Department of Justice is conducting an antitrust investigation into Live Nation and Ticketmaster's potential monopoly of the live entertainment ticketing industry. This investigation could gain momentum under Bondi's leadership.
