Kid Rock Teams Up with Trump AG Nominee Pam Bondi to Tackle Concert Industry Price Gouging
Kid Rock met with Trump's Attorney General pick Pam Bondi to discuss major reforms in the live concert industry, particularly targeting issues with ticket sales and pricing.

The meeting focused on addressing several key issues plaguing the concert industry:
- Automated bots purchasing tickets
- Scalpers reselling at inflated prices
- Questionable venue practices
- Controversial ticketing company policies
- Artist and management pricing strategies
The discussion comes at a crucial time when ticket prices have reached unprecedented levels, exemplified by Taylor Swift's Eras Tour and the upcoming Oasis reunion shows. Investigation revealed that ticket-buying bots are readily available for as little as $50, giving scalpers an unfair advantage over genuine fans.
Currently, the U.S. Department of Justice is conducting an antitrust investigation into Live Nation and Ticketmaster's potential monopoly of the live entertainment ticketing industry. This investigation could gain momentum under Bondi's leadership.
Kid Rock shared on Instagram: "I look forward to working with her and the whole administration to help fix the fiasco of buying concert tickets." He emphasized the need for industry-wide reform, warning stakeholders to "get your ass to the table, otherwise, f*ck around and find out."
The initiative may receive additional support from Gail Slater, Trump's pick for Assistant Attorney General and head of the DoJ's antitrust division. Slater's appointment has been welcomed by anti-monopoly advocates, suggesting the Live Nation/Ticketmaster case could become a priority for the incoming administration.
