Shopify has removed Kanye West's Yeezy.com website after the platform discovered the site was selling merchandise featuring Nazi symbols. The website, which was operational through Sunday night and most of Monday, was taken down for violating Shopify's terms of service.

The controversial product in question was a t-shirt featuring a tilted swastika symbol with the product code 'HH-01', an apparent reference to 'Heil Hitler'. This merchandise release followed West's recent social media posts containing anti-semitic statements and praise for Hitler.

Shopify released an official statement explaining their action: "All merchants are responsible for following the rules of our platform. This merchant did not engage in authentic commerce practices and violated our terms so we removed them from Shopify."

Prior to the website's removal, West posted several inflammatory statements on X/Twitter, including anti-semitic remarks and controversial claims about slavery. The Anti-Defamation League condemned these actions, noting that West's previous anti-semitic statements in 2022 had been linked to 30 antisemitic incidents nationwide.

West deactivated his X/Twitter account voluntarily before any potential ban could be implemented. The platform's terms of service explicitly prohibit the promotion of unsafe, inappropriate, or offensive content, leading to the swift removal of the Yeezy website from Shopify's platform.
