Sean "Diddy" Combs has filed a $100 million+ defamation lawsuit against NBCUniversal, Peacock, and Ample Entertainment over their documentary "Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy."

The lawsuit targets the documentary that premiered on January 14th, which Diddy claims makes false and malicious accusations against him. According to the legal filing, the documentary wrongly accuses him of being involved in the deaths of several close associates, including:
- Kimberly Porter (his former partner)
- The Notorious B.I.G.
- Andre Harrell (Uptown Records founder)
- Heavy D
The suit states that these individuals died of natural causes, with the exception of Biggie Smalls, and describes the accusations as "deeply distressing, offensive, reckless, and malicious."
The legal action also addresses claims made in the documentary regarding:
- An alleged attempted murder of Al B. Sure! (which Diddy states were actually complications from bariatric surgery)
- The existence of "Diddy tapes" (which Combs claims don't exist)
- Allegations of sex trafficking underage girls
This lawsuit follows another recent $50 million defamation complaint filed against Courtney Burgess and attorney Ariel Mitchell for allegedly fabricating allegations against Diddy.
The legal team argues that these accusations and the documentary's timing could potentially interfere with Diddy's ability to receive a fair trial in his upcoming May criminal case. They assert that NBCUniversal and other defendants are "maliciously perpetuating" what they call "vile rumors" about Combs.
