Model Files Sexual Assault Lawsuit Against Diddy, Claims 2003 Attack and Industry Blackballing
Sean 'Diddy' Combs faces a new sexual assault lawsuit from model Crystal McKinley, who alleges he drugged and sexually assaulted her at a New York City studio in 2003.
According to the lawsuit, McKinley, then 22, met Combs at a Men's Fashion Week event. After accepting his invitation to his studio, she claims she consumed Hennessy and cannabis that she suspects was laced with drugs, as it felt "very powerful."
McKinley alleges Combs forced himself on her in a bathroom and attempted to coerce her into oral sex. She lost consciousness and later awoke in a taxi, realizing she had been sexually assaulted. Following the incident, McKinley claims she was "blackballed" from the modeling industry, leading to severe depression and a suicide attempt in 2004.
Woman speaking with serious expression
The lawsuit follows several other allegations against Combs, including cases from Cassie Ventura and Joi Dickerson-Neal. These cases inspired McKinley to come forward, citing a "moral obligation to speak up."
Combs recently released an apology video following the emergence of footage showing him assaulting Cassie Ventura in 2016. The Department of Homeland Security has also launched a federal investigation, conducting raids on his Florida and California homes in April.
