Sean 'Diddy' Combs Jailed Without Bail Ahead of Federal Sex Trafficking Trial
Sean 'Diddy' Combs has been denied bail and will remain in Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) following his arrest on federal charges. The hip-hop mogul faces multiple felony counts including racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

The federal indictment alleges that Diddy "abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct" over several decades. After pleading not guilty to all charges, Combs will appeal the bail decision during a scheduled Manhattan federal court hearing.
His attorney, Marc Agninfilo, maintains Combs' innocence, stating that while his client is "an imperfect person," he is "not a criminal." Agninfilo emphasized Combs' cooperation with investigators and his voluntary relocation to New York ahead of the charges.
The Metropolitan Detention Center, where Combs is currently held, has a troubled history. Inmates have reported numerous issues including:
- Rat infestations
- Freezing temperatures during power outages
- Worm and maggot-infested food
- Poor living conditions
- Frequent inmate attacks
The facility previously housed Ghislaine Maxwell during her sex-trafficking trial connected to Jeffrey Epstein.
