The lawsuit details multiple serious allegations, including:
- Sexual abuse and terrorization of Richard
- Witness accounts of physical abuse against Cassie Ventura
- Withholding earnings and copyright theft
- Creating inhumane working conditions during Making the Band 3 and 4
- Threats against Richard's life when she tried to help Ventura
Richard claims she witnessed Combs physically abusing Cassie Ventura, including choking, strangling, and striking her with objects. When Richard attempted to help Ventura, she alleges Combs threatened her with statements like "you want to die today" and "I make n—— go missing."
The lawsuit also describes an incident from 2005 where Richard witnessed Kim Porter, another of Combs' former girlfriends, leaving a studio visibly injured. This event, followed by observing Combs' "intimidating, predatory manner" during his first meeting with Cassie Ventura, allegedly made Richard deeply fearful of him.
During her time with Danity Kane, Richard claims Combs deprived band members of basic needs like food and sleep, responding to their requests with derogatory comments such as "you bitches don't want this" and "I'm paying you bitches to work."
Combs and his legal team have not yet responded to requests for comment regarding these allegations.
